I agree but I guess the $6000 off has captured my attention. The sales guy did tell me one story while the service rep said there was an issue with the Tranny (not LGBT type) I have been doing some serious reading on this and appreciate the seriousness of the situation. I do want a new truck at the very best price but need to be careful. Thank you for the advice!

    Be careful.

I would personally NEVER buy a vehicle that was returned as a Lemon.

Lemons happen. With the literally thousands of components that comprise a modern vehicle, there's bound to be a situation where some of the parts didn't come together quite right. I just don't want to be on the hook while the dealer tries to figure out which of those parts it is.

Even though it may be under a full warranty, that's not a very comforting thought when you're either sitting in the dealer's service dept waiting area for hours or driving the POS they gave you as a loaner while your $$$$$ truck lives in the service bay.

If it was returned as a Lemon it means they couldn't get it properly resolved.

And it may vary by state, but I don't think a vehicle that has been Lemoned can be Lemoned again, which means you would be stuck as the R&D guinea pig while they (hopefully) figure it out.

Also be aware that usually a manufacturer will buy a vehicle back before they will let it get branded as a Lemon so that it can now be sold as just pre-owned.
