Gotcha. I had forgotten your setup and had thought something looked differently about yours.

reviving an old thread...I've had my mapecu3 for a couple years now and FINALLY getting around to installing it. Been a long slow process but got my electrical stuff all tidied up and Wideband AFR finally installed. I've been playing with the map cal software a little bit and I think I need a dummy tutorial. I've watched a series of YouTube videos about configuring the mapcal ecu and settings, and when I'm in there, if I go thru the settings I want, I get a "cannot write to NVRAM" error message, I've tried with the mapecu plugged in and connected, not connected, and it seems like even if I get it to save, it defaults back to MAF elimination (I am trying to set it up for MAF intercept)
Also, if I connect, it will disconnect itself after a couple of minutes. I've tried this both with the mapecu on the table (not connected to my truck ecu) and plugged in (with a jumper harness ) to the truck. I'll sit down and look at the pin-outs that all the wires are connected to to make sure its all correct (I paid for the harness from Richard at Autosport wiring) but I just want to make sure I'm not missing some basic dumb user info here, like how to set it up and set the mode that the mapecu will use and get it started...

Because try as I might to set it into intercept mode with all 0's (theoretically not changing anything?) the truck would not start..... so, kind of at a loss. And of course, the support network has disappeared for this....go figure.

    thanks in advance
