So, I've searched, and probably missed it, but I have a perplexing issue that I'm hoping someone can help with.

Changed map lights and dome over to LED. Dome light works fine in all switch positions. Passenger side map light works. Driver's side does not. Rotated the LED bulb, still no joy. Switched working bulb from passenger side to driver's side and the previously non-working light (from driver's side) works fine inpassenger side, but still no joy on the driver's side. I put the incandescent bulb back in on the driver's side and it works fine.

Any one experienced anything like this and does anyone have a solution?

I'm new, so i didn't want to bug caribe makaira just yet if there was a solution that I just glanced over in my searches.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you have a bad bulb

I’ve also seen on some of the cheap LEDs that they have a small wire for the contact and it’s possible to insert it without making contact

See, I thought so too, but it worked on the passenger side. I had two extra bulbs and they all worked on the passenger side, but not the driver side.

    Fuse is good.

The idea was to mod the lights so they all came on with the dome, after doing LED conversion. At this point, I'm glad I started with just the bulbs.
