The L shaped pick tool works the best. There is a whole thread on this in the forum. Some used duct tape. I used the pick. Popped right out half a second

    Bed Mat, Bak Revolver Tonneau,
I just took some needle most pliers and yanked it out. The glass is pretty tough.

I took the whole assembly down and replaced the bulbs from the back.

    Super easy!

Use tape to remove. Packing tape works the best to pluck them right on out without breakage.

Take a piece of duct tape and wrap the bulb around it, squeeze the tape tight against the bulb. Turn the light on for a couple seconds and then pull the tape down, it'll pop the bulb outta the socket.

I used a leatherman and just didn't squeeze too hard, but the tape idea seems to be the best way.

I shit my pants yesterday, I feel you......... I joined Tacoworld just so I could fix my map light, the bulbs would not come straight out, the tape trick did not work. Then the stock bulb popped out and fell inside the console, I ended up with this thread and a few others on Tacoworld —- pulling the whole console out and in five minutes it had LED’s and back up. Thank you Tacoworld!!!!!!!!

I second the tape posts, I used a small piece of blue painters tape so it would peel right off the lamp.

I use masking tape, wrapped it around the bulb the best I could then pulled as close to the bulb itself.
