    2018 Blue Tacoma
    New Member trying to do some maintenance on my truck I call Blueberry it’s been a great truck throwing an code for a MAP sensor I want to try and change it without having to take it somewhere for a sensor replacement when they see me a woman pull up they seem to want to charge more than if my brother pulled my truck into a shop! Anyone have a pic or directions on where the dang MAP sensor is located besides saying near manifold? I can’t find anything and I’m trying to change it myself!

    There is no MAP sensor on 1st 2nd or 3rd gens. What's the exact code it's setting?

    Probably referring to secondary air injection on 2tr-fe

    If that's the case it's gona be number 1 on the diagram but I can't say I've ever heard of one of those sensors failing, it's usually another issue with the SAIS like a broken/disconnected hose/wire, stuck valve, or failed pump.

    Just want to confirm it is the MAP sensor you are getting a code for and not the MAF sensor.

    OP list the actual code, there are techs here that can help before you start the game of swap-a-part, it’ll wind up costing more than paying a shop to properly diagnose and fix.
