    In my experience poor signal was more from poor installation than anything. People either don't have their shit grounded right or are shorting it some how.

    This, bad grounds, coiled up antenna wire, bad power to the radio, no ground plane, etc.

    I found out mine was fuckered because my spring was rubbing against my tool box causing it to ground itself on the truck. Kept it from rubbing and crystal clear.

    I've already requested days off so I have a four day weekend. Plus I'll be slightly closer with my new move. Bringing Chloe, the Boston Terrorist, with me.

    Got the suspension put on, no lift--still factory and it rides noticeably smoother. The mrs even commented on it ^_^ now to bump it 1.5" up and make way for those 33s :D

    Lift and tires should be on this weekend. Still gotta stick with the stock wheels though. At least I won't be completely unmodded for the trip.

    Good stuff! What did you pick then?

    Also, I installed my ditch lights. Just need to run the wires and switches

    @Acerwin

    If I can get my lift on in time (should be able to), count me in as a day tripper. I'll confirm ASAP.
