 Skip has always opened the park WEATHER PENDING and he won't call it until Thursday. The trails get torn up, possible flooding, and one main issue is mud being tracked onto the highway which would be a big problem for him.

Yall need to chill the fuck out and quit whining like children first off. Gulches is a great park and Skip is a good dude. He's not looking to ruin people's weekends, he's protecting his park and its interests. Some of you bitching are freaking in SC so how is it a big deal for you? I understand the argument from people coming farther away.

For the record, the park rarely closes all weekend. From the looks of things right now I'm guessing it will be open Friday and Saturday and closed Sunday.

If it works it works, either way I'll get there someday. Hopefully it'll be Friday but if not, understandable.

May go to AOP anyways. Gulches with small possibility of rain and 50+ trucks, won't be much wheeling. But I'm still thinking about it

Socializing is more of a priority than wheeling for most anyways

That would be the one thing that would make it worth going with this many trucks. But we shall see what the future holds. If not I'm sure there will be another trip there

yea, as much as I hate admitting it, if im driving 4+ hrs to ride, and theres even a chance of it being closed, I may be committing Wednesday night to AOP. If skip realistically thinks he'll be open fri/sat then I may be down (however, echoing @Gear Head , socializing matches the priority to wheel, not over comes it!!!)

We can try to get a final tally Wednesday night/Thursday morning for AOP and Ill call them back with an estimate of numbers just for their own expectation mgmt.
