    My dads works fine for wheeling, doesn't have tons of range but when every truck is right behind the other range isn't a big deal.

    Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
    I was going to get the Cobra 75(I think that is the #). The handheld radio with the controls on it. I think that that would be a suitable radio for wheeling communications. Easy to store and doesn't take up much room.

    Night and day type of comms. If you're a weekend warrior like me and never get beyond a mile of who you're communicating with go CB, if you're wanting more than that like updated local communication, regulated comms, and range to another state+ I'd go ham. You also need a license and its more in depth than what I've stated so Google some of it and you'll see.

    I have a few mods
    also depending on the CB setup, you can get some pretty decent range of a couple miles when properly tuned with the higher grade equipment. ill eventually be swapping my half assed radio shack setup for a Cobra 29 and firestik antenna and getting that tuned properly
