Ok. Now I have to ask. How much for a wrap job on a small single cab? Just the cab in a digi snow print. I thought about a plasti dip job, but if the price is comparable to a wrap I would do the wrap instead.

Need to know what prep work is involved and what kind of shape the mating (body) surface needs to be. There are just a few rough spots that might need to be cleaned up.

Also.....I hate you for this @Acerwin haha.

Really just needs to be smooth buddy. We do the cleaning though (clean road gunk and what not off). I'm not sure on price cause my grandpa is over that. I know he quoted a guy for his whole Tacoma for everything it would be $3500. Since you just want the cab possibly $1000-$1500

None of the above. Just rattle-can it with this stuff...

    http://aervoe.com/paints_coatings/Military-Vehicle-and-Recreation-Camouflage-Paint.html

It's supposed to be super durable for trail abuse, plus if it did get damaged, you could just touch it up with another rattle-can. I sort of wish I had gone that route with mine instead of having it professionally shot with Hotrod Flatz OD Green. Would have been a lot cheaper and I would have been able to touch stuff up.

Shoot. The cabs of an 83' are small, very small.

My jeep looks huge compared to it.

I was going to go with a gun metal plasti dip on the body and the wheels in an adonzide bronze. I have a buddy who has the sprayer so it wouldn't be but about 2-3 gallons of paint.

Can you touch up the derp without peeling the whole thing off and starting over? I've never used the stuff, but it doesn't seem like it'd be terribly durable on tight trails with branches and stuff dragging down the side of your rig.

That said, I need to repaint the badges on my tailgate. The black paint marker I used is nearly gone due to UV fade. I was thinking about trying the plasti-dip, but I'm not sure it's going to peel off the flat finish of the surrounding paint as well as it's supposed to with the factory gloss finishes.

I'm not sure buddy what his price would be just giving him an estimate. My grandpa is over all that stuff. It could be about $550 or so for him also.

When I had the factory front, I dipped the lower valence black. I had to touch up one spot, one time and I just sprayed over it. No problems, so I bet it wouldn't be too bad.

K, I was just thinking that as easy as everyone says the stuff peels off, it wouldn't stand up to a lot of abuse.

    They were. ;)
