Yeah then after april 1st it goes up a bit. Also 2wd guys might wanna check freeman park website but I do not believe they allow 2wd. But march isnt busy out there so not a lot of traffic you can get through the "on ramp" thencut towards the right you can get on the wet hard pack and drive by the water. Ive seen a subaru out there. If I can make it down and someone gets stuck then I can drive to monkey junction and grab the jeep. Winch retard strength chevy 350 and 42's we pull people out pretty easy. I will be gone 22nd -24th any other time I will try to make. Especially bext tuesday or weds ha

I wouldn't recommend 2WD on the north end either. Early in the season it might be possible but be prepared to be pulled out. I live a couple miles north so I'm out there on a regular basis and I always air down just to make things easier. I might be interested depending on the date.

Do you actually set up tents on the sand? Just wondering if my short little tent stakes will work or not...I'd imagine in sand ill need something longer...

That was my plan, I am putting a tarp under mine. I imagine longer tent stakes would be necessary.

Can't wait to see pics of this trip! My GF and I plan on coming here sometime this summer! It'll be the first time I've taken the truck onto a beach! Looking forward to it!

Are there other beaches like this ya'll recommend? I'd like to stay semi - secluded if possible, but I understand a beach in the summertime is the place to be!

    Have fun!
