    Receiver ground, yes. Antenna ground, depends on where ur antenna is. A short ground is always best. Or a big ass ground. I ran a #10 about 5 feet to my frame. Ohms out at zero. Perfect ground.

    well you have a good ground. but it also sounds like you have it fixed lol. you know the plastic nylon washer? for the longest time the one i was using was allowing the ant. to ground out on my mount.. kept effing things up.

    Yeah that's what I thought it might have been too but I have an advantage over a lot of other folks installing cb's ...... I'm an industrial electrician and have a $140 volt meter and know how to test, troubleshoot and fix most things electrical including grounds. Lol but hopefully I fixed whatever it was cause damn that shit is annoying!

    I was talking mostly about the hot and ground just for the cb. Some people like to tap into any old hot and that's a no no due to induced noise. And as far as the ground for the antena the bigger the ground plane the better. But you and I know this.

    This is true. Its the tires fault! But to be fair its mine and levis fault. What we didnt tell u is that the day before we dug that thing out. It took me 5 tries but i red lined it and made it. Levi made it in just a cpl tries. By the time we got done with that hill it had hanged charactor completly! Sorry. U guys got the sloppy 2nds!
