i mean, i plan on wheeling before hand but i was speaking about the next "big" trip we were all going to plan lol.

 

That's what I'm talkin about. April is too soon for me cause ill be in North Carolina till the first week of April and then I'll be in Atlanta for 3-4 weeks in June. Anytime immediately after that will be middle of summer and if uve ever been camping in 100 deg + weather and or high humidity, like we get down here, then u know it is miserable so I'm not really down for that. If I was the date maker, which I'm not, I would put us doin the next big meet in May. Weekend of May 16-19, that's Thursday thru Sunday again. Cinco de mayo is the first weekend, mothers day is the second, and memorial day is the fourth

 

i don't see why we couldn't try for then? yeah camping in that hot of weather is no fun. we went to windrock june or july of last year and it reached 115 on average.. we ended up staying in a hotel to say the least.

Yeah fuck that. Unless u do some nonprimitive camping like bring a window unit and hook it up in your tent for ac, then camping in heat is a terrible idea. Most of the time u can't even get drunk enough to just pass out. Lol if u camp in the cold, there are ways to keep urself warm without electricity. If u camp in the heat, theres only so many clothes u can take off before the pocket knife comes out and u are peeling ur skin off to hang it out to dry instead of soaking in ur own sweat. And I'm sure u can imagine it gets real awkward at that point

So I just now washed my truck aaaaaaannnnnnnddddddddd I have twice as many tree branch scratches, need to repaint spots on my front bumper, need to repaint the whole underside of my ifs skid and lca skids, and my right front rim looks like hammered shit! It's awesome!!! Haha

 

i detailed mine on sunday. most the scratches went away. i put another layer of paint on my tire gate, as well as more bedliner on the rear bumper and the front. sliders will be done next week when i need a break from applying places.
also, my clutch is starting to slip. at 200k and with me driving like i'm in KOH at times i'm shocked the stock clutch held up this long.
OH and when i had a local shop regear, they may have used the wrong seal because my pinion is leaking around the seal.

the next month is going to be fun maintenance

 

I've almost fixed all mine, al that's left is an alignment, repaint the rear bumper, and my cv boot

 

Detailed last weekend. Just a few new pin stripes on my spotters side. None on driver. Got to retrain that kid.

U guys must have gotten a little more crazy after we left.

 

May 13-18 at Windrock is a event already. They do have cabins that you can rent.

 

Me, Jenna, and Levi found some nasty hill climbs after everyone left. that was some of the most fun i've had wheeling. i can't speak for Gid lol.
