well, guess Im going to have to trade my POS in on a silver or white 4X4, put a lift on it, add, some lights, and sling some mud to get some love here on TORA...ugh, I mean TW....

Seriously though, they are all nice trucks, but there are alot more peeps into 4X4 then there are street/strip... guess thats to be expected on a TRUCK site

All the finalists have nice rides  , good luck to all.

That was taken right after I installed the bumper, so I cleaned it up. But check out these two links for some of my wheelin' pics. There's more coming of the most recent trip (in the snow) I just haven't gotten them from my buddies wife yet...

No worries at all - they're not for everybody! I wasn't a huge fan of the plate bumpers when I first saw them, but they have grown on me a lot. Plus, in this case, I HAD to go with function over form. If I'd not replaced it, I would have been screwed on my trip last Saturday. No way I would have made it through MOST of the obstacles with the factory bumper and that brush guard I had on there...

Well, I'm not guaranteeing anything, but it cant hurt!;):D Thanks for the vote!
On the bumper note, I'm taking the fabrication class again next term where I get full usage of my college welding shop and I'm looking at doing some other projects. I'm going to do a few mods to my front bumper like beef the mounting to handle 9000lbs of winching, and integrate a 2" receiver into it as well as do a little bit of finishing touches on it so I can paint it. Then, with the rest of my time I have a few other Ideas of stuff to build. Ideas right now are: A rear plate bumper, rock sliders, over-sized and lockable bed side storage bins to replace the small and insecure factory ones, and a few other things. I actually thought about making a copy of my front bumper to sell, but I'm not sure I'd have the time to do it.
I really want to get a welder, tube bender, etc of my own but they're damn expensive. I'm sure I could make it back fairly quickly, but the initial cost is too much if I didn't.
