    5822 Polygraph Examiner

Polygraphers make GOOD money when they get out. And you'd attend school at DoDPI.

This is a great INT field to get into as well: 9814 External Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Operator

Well, Marine Recon is not Special Forces, they do have MARSOC, which is just getting off the ground. There is SOF (Special Operations Forces) which every branch has a hand in. As far as Intel, especially on the HUMINT side, there is one place that is top notch in the branches and that is the Army.

But to put yourself above the rest to go to one of thee letter places you will need to go to the SOF side of the house. Don't concern yourself with Xe aka Blackwater...there are other reputable places that have better offerings with a lot better money and contracts.

As far as who makes more money when it comes to the military...well there is a slight difference; Base pay is the same but if you are Jump, HALO, and or Scuba qualified then you get more money.
Of course this mainly pertains to SOF, but there are some regular units where you get this additional pay, not many. Then there is also Demo pay...Of course retirements

So let's say you are in the SOF community depending on which one, you can draw; HALO, Scuba, Demo, and Special Dty Pay...which can be upwards to $1000 extra a month plus or minus a little here and there depending on what your qualifications are and what branch...
