    then think about what will get you a job that will be in high demand and pay the most money when you decide to get out. do some research and tell him thats what you want.

    My buddy went into the marines with an open contract with the recruiter promising and swearing that he would be infantry. Well once he graduated, they said infantry was full and made him a jetplane tech.

    Whereas my army buddy went in on a closed contract and is doing what he signed up for.
