I was hoping someone I’m here can help me. I am a Marine Corps wife of 30 years. My husband is a retired Marine, who loves his Tacoma, it is a 2003 extra cab not four wheel but trd off road and We have had it for 21 years and raised all of our kids in it and now drive our grandsons in it . I am coming up on my 30th anniversary and his Tacoma broke this week. We keep having to add coolant for years but it still runs but now is chugging and it must have other things wrong with it and I’m wanting to rebuild the whole thing as a surprise and I need help does anyone have any suggestions on how I could do this or who I could use I live in North Carolina thank you so much for any advice you can give. It is his daily driver for 21 years and he loves this truck . It’s ugly but it’s his and he loves it .

Welcome - and good luck! It probably doesn't need that much work. These babies run forever!
