    Noticed an increase in threads that list parts for sale but mention "still installed, will remove from truck when payment is made," or "will be off the truck in 5 weeks," etc.

    Not against the Marketplace rules (as of the latest revision), but maybe it would be something to consider that parts should be ready for sale when they're listed on the marketplace. It seems like it leaves a little grey area where items the pics of actual parts shows more that the parts exist but doesn't so much show the obvious condition.

    Might just be my own weird tick, but I don't really understand selling something that isn't actually available to buy.

    Aside from that, what are the rules on feelers?

    Say someone bought them tomorrow. Then what? It's a waiting period for parts until X days/X weeks and they're actually in the sellers hands. Doesn't seem appropriate from a buyer or seller perspective.

    Or an item is listed but the seller says they won't be sold to anybody for the same time period because they're still installed and just wants a "feeler," well then it isn't a sale thread at that point and is just a floating thread in the marketplace subforum until parts are available for purchase. So a week or two or three goes by before they're sellable?

    Why post it in the first place until things are actually an exchange of goods for money? Instead it's an I.O.U.

    I like the thought of that I installed that guys shocks and might buy them but your right no reason to try to sell them if they aren't truly available for sale take them off fuck that "feeler" bull shit if you want to sell them sell them

    HIDs for sale, here's a picture of my truck with it's lights on.

    Doesn't show anything at all about what is actually for sale, which is entirely outside of what the rules of the marketplace demand. It fulfills nothing required, and again, the items are still installed on the truck.

    How can you buy a steak before the cow is slaughtered?

    You know, I plan on listing something for sale, but after hunting around, I cannot find a list of these "marketplace rules". Might be helpful if they were easier to find.
