IFS is generally more than SAS.. there's more moving parts, more parts that need the beef.

It's going to be more than a SAS. If you look at all the LT kits they are up there competing with SAS (or more DIY type of SAS). The nice thing with this kit is you just bolt it on essentially. SAS unless you know what you are doing and have the skillset and tools you will pay a bunch to have someone do it for you.

id bet 5-6k. you arent getting a sas done at a shop anywhere near that price. if you do it yourself you probably can but then you have to have the tools already at your disposal.

But DIY, on tons is still a 15-20k proposition.

I'm gonna guess around 5-7k for the kit $2500 for the rack. $2500 for axles. Plus shocks, wheels, tires and some ancillary bullshit. So similar money to DIY SAS on tons. I think its a good option for someone with a new unmodded truck with a big budget. BUT for the majority of owners that would be throwing away a bunch of parts they already own, it's just impractical.

The real disappointment is that the MarRack doesn't sound like it will be available for stock width trucks. A steering upgrade for the "midtravel" guys would have been a big deal, at least here on the east coast.

I snapped an RCV axle while my ARB was locked on my front differential. Axle broke before anything in the differential or the tie rod bending. Granted it was -25F outside.

    These front differentials are impressive.

Or, one can sell their aftermarket parts to help offset the cost and shave off a decent chunk, depending on set up. CV axles, uppers, lowers, spindles, and coilovers will all fetch decent money. Hell, even a steering rack in good shape will too.

good thing I could sell all of my current aftermarket suspension components and break even on what i paid. buying lightly used at a great deal then selling very used at a fair deal! it's all about waiting for the right local deal.

Dem crazy Aussies!!!! One thing to look at is how flat those tires are depending on the obstacles this can be a good thing where a solid axle those tires at the same flex would be on their edges

Yup I've set my go/no go price on this at 10k$ any more than that and I think its gonna be out of most anyone's price range versus worth.

I may have 7k$ set aside in cold hard cash at this very moment and am expecting 3.5k from uncle sam at any moment :anonymous::rofl::rofl:

Still need to do something with the rear though. o_O:spending:

15-20k for diy 1 tons? are you buying new axles? I can get dana 60front and 14bolt for under a grand and much more if i shop around. 3k for some bling arbs, another 1k for gears and figure another 1k for misc.
I want to say my 1ton swap was around 4500ish for axles, arbs, gears, disk brakes and brackets.
