i think u learned the hard way with your first regear and should just go for 5.29 if u are even thinking about going to 37s with this kit, and tbh a new rear axle and changing the breaks to disk probably isn't a bad prep move for 37s if your gonna thrash it and want to spend some money

I have a 2nd gen so 5:29 isn’t necessary for 33s like a 3rd gen. 5:29s wasn’t available for the front when i regeared, but I regret not getting 4:88. I’m not doing anything to the rear at this point, there’s enough other things I should upgrade first.

    Yes, in 2025.

    And it will have a 6 to 12 month back-order through 2030.

By which time the last of the 2nd gens will have rotted to dust and we'll all be driving Tesla Cyber Trucks.

I gave up, spent my money on other parts and another toy. Still watching and waiting, and probably will still have my truck when it comes out. In the meantime I moved onto other mods and other projects.

Anyone know if I will still be able to rock my standard king coilovers with extended travel while I wait for the funds to be able to afford new LT coilovers?

They'll work just to roll around on depending on coilover placement on the kit - won't be a smart way to keep it.

Water was down a little when we got it out. Stayed there about 5 hours waiting for the rescue crew. Total loss. 1’ of water in my seat. Had to swim for the bank using the strap we attached.

Woah that's intense. Glad everyone made it out without issue.

Did you get caught up in a flash flood trying to get out? Or did you think you could make it across ?

Water came up after we crossed the first time. One way road so no option but to come back. Not a flash flood, but hot day run off.

Anyway, back to the real issue and that is my new build is no expense spared time and I want this RCLT. Also need a tacobox. Not patient. Hate to go a different direction short term so it’s either the RCLT or I’m going TC Expedition +2” and I’ll just live with it.
