This whole process is cringe-worthy. There must be more to the story

7.5% chance of getting parts seems optimistic.

If you'd taken that 7K pre-order and bought one BitCoin you'd have enough to go by a new jeep gladiator now, and be on the trails.

This. Custom parts - yeah anything in a long travel kit uses custom sheet metal or tube then uniball cups, bushings, spacers, bungs, uniballs, bolts, nuts, washers, and rod ends. Not sure what you’re going to find to make it easier to manufacture. Especially after it’s been through how many iterations of product development - any bottlenecks (should) could have been assessed by now.

    You
shut it with your logic as to why they should have had this done by now.
Busted deadlines and lack of communication is terrible and makes me think we will see a going out of business announcement soon from MC

My immediate thought: trying to get an alignment busing to match the taco cam bolt is probably a bitch. Getting one to use a 5/8 or 9/16 bolt is easier.

did you miss the part where this thread and the tease of an LT kit came out 3 years ago? It doesn’t take 3 years to establish a reliable supply chain, let alone bushings.. this is a long con. Everything to suggest the media-heavy influencers getting front of the line while others fund the operation is slimy. We just saw it with RST and his ‘inner circle’. We saw the same concept of business with GFC, early adopters fund the business and were left with a shitty product that leaked and had doors fall off every week at one point. It’s all hype.

Remember MC and steel city racing 4x4 worked with RST on that 4runner and he promoted them too guess that inner circle thing might have trickled over

I truly hope not. I hope everyone gets their product they paid for. However until then the JD fab stuff is crushing the game

Pretty much took them a whopping 2 months of product development that then turned into a whole slew of products that are actually being used, abused, and gotten to the customers

It does seem like there is a general back up of parts in the industry. As of today ORI Struts aren't shipping until Jan 2022 and King seems to have similar lead times.

That's all true but they haven't been toying with here's a product give us money we'll eventually make it and get it out to you. You can get some of King's competitors in far shorter time frame also. Not gonna say there isn't some supply chain issues but that still hasn't stopped others from getting product out in using probably some of the same supply chains.

    Too many to remember
It’s the easiest thing ever, you buy raw materials which there is an abundance of and turn them down on a lathe. You could easily make enough bushings for 20 kits in one day on a manual lathe. Or you call one of the 10 million machine shops in the US and have them machine bushings.

Or you can collect a bunch of people's money, and say you're waiting on parts.

Was going to say - anyone with a lathe which probably would be in your shop if you’re known for rebuilding transmissions could make these. And let’s say it is somehow holding the show up - unless they’re using weird size sleeves just call TC and order a couple sets so you can get the kits out the door.
