The bottom of the email had the standard "Confidentiality Notice" language so I won't copy/paste the contents. But in a nutshell: The majority of the production is done, mainly a few uncommon-size components causing delays. They changed a few things to make the kit more production friendly, and have invested a ton of cash into R&D and production. They are holding all pre-order money until shipments start so they are highly motivated to start shipping kits. They included photos of production level volumes of various parts (milled knuckles, LCAs, UCAs). They also addressed the Rock Solid Toys relationship (was strictly a business relationship, etc. and Wyatt made off with ~$10k of their product and cut contact). They were finishing the last few parts last week and those parts needed 1 week for electroplating. Then kits would be shipping.

They didn't leave any room in the update for additional multi-week delays.

Well, those photos have some hope in them. I hope you guys get your parts. Since they have stopped production/building of a lot of components, I wonder how post-pre-order orders will be. Will they actually be available or will it be the same story as built crawl boxes, tube bumpers, and transmissions?
AKA, trips to cool places to drive their truck? Haha.

Just so I’m following; They didn’t stick to a timeline 3 years ago. I wouldn’t get my hopes up for an ‘update’ in a timely manner?

What about those who invested in and never received in their Tacobox shortfall? Similar circumstance but expecting a different result?

Yes, and more of the billet hub/steering part, before they are welded into a spindle. I counted over 20 sets of those. Thats probably the most difficult part to produce. The rest of the kit is laser cut, welded plate and tube.

I don't believe Big Mike will burn anyone. I've talked to him about some companies doing that. He's never shirked my PM's.

I have a friend who is close with the company, and he assures me there is a zero percent chance of getting burned on this. Admittedly might take longer than expected but they'll deliver. This is someone with a lot of industry experience who I trust.

Just relaying what I know (from Marlin updates to their buyers) and what I've heard from people with more knowledge of the company than me. Funny how many people on this thread, with no dog in the fight, are rooting against us getting our parts...
