No problem, was going to keep it. I got 700# springs and it is not needed. Getting ready for a 9 state adventure run and cant wait to go wheeling.

Just a little relief notch with a flap disc. My skid might be different than yours though. Before removing your skid, put the gusset in place and mark the area that might need a notch. That’ll make it a bit easier

Right on, I was thinking of welding up my alignment cams too. That way my front end will always be aligned.

How did it go with the TC lowers? The bushings seem to be closer to the frame then stock correct?

    Workin' on it....
So I was thinking of swapping out oem LCA’s for TC lowers and my plan was to put the truck on stands, pull the lowers and burn on the gussets before installing the TC lowers so as to not have to worry about heat damaging the bushings.

Would your recommendation be to have the TC lowers installed before so that everything is clearanced correctly if there is some variation / less room for error with the TC lowers? Just keep wet towels on the bushings for protection?

If you're taking the old ones off, how bout burning the gussets in with the OEM lowers in place then adding the TC's when everything is nice, cool and painted up? Or at least getting the easy-to-reach welds done with the OEM lowers in place?

Also an option potentially. Good suggestion.

Great looking product. The video is very helpful. Now I don’t need to explain anything to the installer. Just have them watch the video!!!!
