I got in on the deal but it was another $15 for shipping via UPS ground. I could have shipped it FedEx Ground on my work account for $10. Something like this they should offer free shipping, especially at the “normal” price.

I’m sure the profit margin is high enough they could absorb $6 worth of shipping via USPS.

I’m not complaining, but free shipping is becoming the norm for most online retailers.

Meh - $6-15 for shipping gets blown easily enough on coffee or beer in one outing. I’m good with supporting a small niche company providing parts I don’t expect free shipping to come with it.

Besides, while profit margin is probably decent on some basic 1/4” plate I’m sure that many hours, testing at KOH and a few prototypes went into this before the finished product that the company needs to recoup.

Amazon has made it difficult for so many businesses. I knew someone with a business who had customers complain because they weren’t receiving things on Sundays. Hard to compete with such a monster of a company!

srsly, this is at $99 for an introductory price.

if someone really wants free shipping just buy like a tacobox.

running a small business and making it profitable is about cutting out unnecessary complexity, increasing efficiency so your guys are doing work all the time in the fastest, safest, and most efficient way possible that preserves time for both the customers and the employees' well-being.

Steel is heavy. It cost money to move. It doesn’t grow wings and fly for free.

Got $80 for mine and used the $ to fund these. Luckily I got sent the money Friday evening and shipped the TC kit out Saturday morning. Worked PERFECTLY.

The incentive being that you don't really have to do any work to get this mod done. Nothing to take apart, no half day of work. An hour of work with a welder if that and you're done.

I know that's what made me sell the TC kit and get the MC kit.

I ordered a lot more stuff from ruffstuff and those guys wedged it all into a if it fits it ships box. Cost me like 20 bucks shipping and weighed 50+ lbs. How small this is shipping could of been done in a smaller box and cost less. There are ways to save and pass that savings onto the customers.
