My ex sent me a friend request on facebook. I'm just sure I know better than to open that can of worms.

Also, i know plenty of my teenage friends who are "married" to each other on facebook. i assume the study counted those too so i wouldnt bet on those statistics

as for the problem, one of the times she is checking up on you, ask her what she is so worried about. tell her there is a reason you married HER and not someone else. relationships are based on trust and she needs to have that in you. dont give her a reason to doubt you though, just let her know if youre talking to some girl or going somewhere with girls but just bring it up in a casual way so as to let her know but not make a big deal out of it.

if she keeps it up, tell her you cant deal with it and if she cant trust you, she can leave

Talk it out... when you are not already angry. Do it as calmly as possible. Set some boundaries. She could have many reasons for feeling insecure, don’t jump to the worst conclusions as this will only make it worse. If the two of you can’t figure it out together then get some impartial help, there are many resources for this. As for Facebook, it can cause trouble; my girl couldn’t handle other women in my friends list and made it hardly worth the trouble. Now I have TW… Who needs Facebook when you have TW… If you want you marriage to last you will have to do the work… good luck dude…

Ask her why she does it, maybe she doesn't consciously realize she is doing it.

    THIS!

I had a friend request from a girl that i messed around with before we met.

Havent talked to the girl in years, so she sent a message and i responded. Just the typical "hey how ya doing" crap.

Well I told my wife about it....openly told her!!!!! and she still went psycho.

i just cant fucking win. If i wouldve hidden it, she would eventually find out and id be in trouble.

so i tell her........still got in trouble.

The best advice I've heard yet... when all else fails....

"try throwing her down on the bed, banging the shit out of her and making her happy again."

Nothing wrong with seeking help....but.... opening up your own personal business to the outside world, could have other affects on the relationship - especially if she finds out.

    Seriously?

He's pissed off at her because she's poking into his business..... Yet, he's allowed to talk about 'her business' to everyone here? Do you really think she's gonna be happy about him talking about HER to everyone here?
He's exposing 'her business' - so what part about that is RIGHT?

It's going both ways.....and no wonder she has trust issues with him.
