No clue. You're right though. Need to fab a better bracket system when we fix the solenoid.

It's all good. $12 part from Amazon isn't THAT bad.

2 ot of 3 ain't bad. At least I will have lights.

Been a while since I posted on here. Just a reminder for anyone I am doing an auction on toyota patch club group on facebook for toys for tots again this year. anyone can donate funds if the patches get too high in price for you

for the harbor freight gift card i was looking at a bench drill press for "recreational use"

Tacomaworld Secret Santa has started again and i finally got my member the other day and now its time to order some things and put it together for him. last year i got the waterport which i absolutely love to use and came in handy at ATR this year.

Starting to look into finishing and adding interior mods for example one thing i need to finish is the wiring on the lower switch panel. have been lazy about that. i also need to install the risers on my driver seat at least for the time being. I also need @mesojdm to finish up some white interior dome and map lights to get those hella bright things in my cab haha. Also going on Amazon today to order me some new christmas lights for Ashlee this year.

Just getting over strep so I was looking at @geekhouse23 build for some ideas bc he steals things from me and i him. thats what happens when youre brothers and live 5 min from each other haha.

I also have planned for next summer to clean out more of the garage and maybe do some more storage and things to make the garage neater and more organized.....not that i fit in there anyway

i am still looking at possible putting a solar panel battery tender for my aux battery for when i go on longer trips and hopefully start planning my next trip that will possibly be out west colorado/utah area

I am currently collecting donations for the toys for tots parade this year. My goal is $1500 and I’m already at $150. There will be patches auctioned off on Toyota patch club on Facebook beginning Monday at 6 eastern

I hope everyone had a good holiday. I know I did. It was filled with family and friends. I wish you all the best in 2019 with work or personal life or any ambitions you hope to gain. Work hard and don’t get discouraged. Don’t let people shit on your dreams. Cut out the negative people in your life and do what makes you truly happy. Remember people knock others down bc they’re struggling. When you succeed other people become jealous and few they have to bring you down.

    Here’s some items I got.

:thumbsup:Holy hell its been a while since I’ve been on here. Well here’s my long update haha

So far the biggest thing was that our group was in the Chicago auto show which was fantastic. I was scheduled at the booth for about 4 hours but I ended up staying for 8 bc I was having such a great time talking to people

    AA7096A7-18D1-4245-B79D-E2B3A06B6FD2.jpg

After this I took a trip to St. Louis for the haunted house show they have there every year so that was a fun trip and I added another state to my map

    E7BC5A0C-799C-4A00-A20B-15D4446C0B8E.jpg

I started to take some welding classes and even got a welder for myself. Pretty excited to keep using it and get better.

    35EF3B94-3D0A-4806-97D5-9316868D2EAB.jpg

Another big thing I did this year was change my pads and rotors bc they were awful. Metal on metal and it was cringe worthy. Luckily I had the parts in my garage ready to go so it didn’t get too terrible but it was bad

    727BF3DC-A5F2-446B-BC78-400D61730CB6.jpg F7DB6846-4741-4356-A31E-8C85C8DB7C2A.jpg 7B27B1AE-6883-47B3-BE2B-3B7E82791773.jpg

Now for the thing I am most excited for. Next year I will be take a 2 week trip out to ouray and Moab. This has been a dream of mine since I bought my truck and the fact that it’s becoming true now is amazing. Plus getting ready for the trip means new toys and upgrades

    4993F775-FD4D-4B5C-A37C-7E37FE043271.jpg

The next item on my list is a fridge

well that’s the update for now. Gotta get back to posting more on here.

Well its been almost 2 months since I posted last. There are a lot of things coming this year. The biggest is a 2 week trip out west to Colorado and Utah in August and possibly ending up back at ATR Labor day weekend :fingerscrossed:.

Most of the rest are smaller things that will be leading up to that trip. For example my purchase of a brand new Dometic CFX 75DZW that will serve as my off-road fridge. I did the research but my biggest thing for choosing Dometic was at ATR. The way they talked passionately about the product and how well built they were. I also have my truck approximately where i want it as far as off-road capable so I am going to begin to upgrade my LED bars. Starting with the front 40" bar which will be upgraded to a Baja Design OnX6+ courtesy of @memario1214 ongoing Baja group buy. The other things will be rewiring some items as well as upgrading the main battery.

The main battery will be one of two i have it narrowed down to the brand which will be X2 Power. I just am trying to decided between a 27F and 31M sized battery. Both are deep cycle and have 930 and 1150 CCA respectively. More on this selection to come as well as photos of recent other purchases to come later today.

Now for the thing i am most excited about is my group CTOR is back in the Chicago auto show! Super excited for this as we will have a 6,000 sqft display this year which is almost twice as big as last year. More to come on this when it starts in about 2 weeks.

You can't go wrong with X2. I have had one in mine for some time now and just keeps on ticking. Never had a problem with alternator voltage or anything. Unless you really stay out in the woods for some time without moving, I would get a 27 though. I have the 31 and between the potential weight concerns, it makes getting to your oil filter harder, and you'll need something like the extended Slee battery terminals to avoid stretching the power wires too far.

Gimme a shout when you get to Utah!

Yea there will be a group of about 25 of us going out there. Theyre coming from Pennsylvania and i was honored to be invited by Chris Rockwell who put it all together. I want to try and get together with some people in Ouray, Colorado Springs and maybe near MOAB. I also wanted to travel to the grand canyon for a few hours before I head to ATR too but well see how well that goes. Even if I get to ATR a day late the trip will be huge to me because itll be just an overall amazing trip. I also need to go through and check and change our some fluids as well. Make sure everything is ready to go by the time August hits.

Can’t wait to give this bad boy a try on my trips. Also going to grab a bigger solar battery tender this will help with the fridge I’m hoping

    Battery Tender 12V, 830mA, 15W Solar Battery Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004Q820TQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_qjqmEb361D8AX

I also need to grab a new case for my rack that holds my tools. The other one was leaking. I need to get some of the surface rust off some of my tools so they look nice.

Also need to grab some other things for camping. Collapsible wash buckets, something to make coffee with off-road and a few smaller items. Maybe even another pair of maxtrax

    stay tuned!
