Anyone else have intense vibration issues with their rack? Just put mine on Saturday and had to hammer on it passi g a car. At 73ish it started vibrating really bad then I hit 85 and I thought the roof was going to come off!

Is everything tight? How low is your wind fairing?

I didn’t have vibrations, but I did have excessive wind noise initially at higher speeds. I purchased the Prinsu wind deflector stripping for $15 and since installing it I haven’t had any problems since. Also, make sure the deflector is at it’s lowest setting. If you would like, I can go out and take some closeup photos of my configuration and post.

I'm not the one you are offering those pics to, but I'd still like to see them.

Only thing that's not tight is the last bolt on both sides in the back. The bolt is about 1/8" to long. It's completely tightened down but not tight on the rack. Going to get some new ones from Lowe's today.

Might be nice whenever you get a chance. Since there's zero instructions (not like it was hard to figure out) that might be helpful.

Just got the rubber gasket installed. I also wasn't able to get a cross member on the very back. Thinking that has something to do with the vibration. I was able to move the whole rack back about an eight of an inch. Got a cross member on there but its hitting the shark fin just a litle bit. Hoping it won't cause any issues. Very slight bend in the cross member.

I've been emailing the guy and he's actually going to cut some new side rails for me that are longer! Pretty good customer service right there. I have the cross bar vertical now but its bending on the fin. Getting that on there completely eliminated the vibration issues I was having.. Also the gasket made the wind noise pretty much go away.

    None...yet
Kayaking tip learned from truckers...put a quarter twist in your cam straps and they won't cause vibratory humming at highway speeds.

Got my Martin roof rack last week - finally unboxed it. I loved how everything was wrapped - including paper-wrapped support bars (each was protected). Install will be based on whatever I find on YT but I think it's cut and dry. Very very happy with the product, though I wish i'd had one more cross bar in my order.

Does this rack work on trucks with sun roofs?

I've been very happy with my Martin rack. Bought the seal off of Amazon for the fairing, installed foam strips in my cross bars and everything has been great. The only issue I've noticed is rust on the washers for the bolts that hold the rack to the truck. I'd like to replace them with stainless but since I siliconed them in I'll wait till Summer to remove, clean, and re-install.20210107_100315.jpg

Love the Martin logo, and sounds like a quality product with fair pricing.
Can you give specifics? How much was the base price? Do they charge shipping? Sales tax out of state? Anyone have discount codes?
Thanks for any help out there
