    So I’m sure this has been asked before, but I’m not finding any info in the search menu...

    I live in Maryland (21158), close to the Pennsylvania boarder. Recently bought a 2020 TRD Sport and I’m looking for a knowledgeable off-road shop, preferably one that specializes in Toyotas. Anyone have any thoughts or knowledge of a shop like this in the area?

    Greatly appreciate any and all info!

    More specifically...

    Looking for a shop that knows 3rd Gen suspension inside and out. So many different variants of parts to use and combine together... and so many different opinions on what is good bad and really bad as far as lift increments. I would like to lift the front 3” but safely. I have my eye on the 3” Readylift/Bilstein 6100 set with 5100 in the rear with an AAL pack. But then comes concerns with needle bearings being pulled... vibrations and CV issues... and then comes the CMC while I’m in there doing everything else. Shit, mind as well slap a set up UCA’s on as well.

    I really don’t need the peanut gallery opinion on everything. I just want a reputable shop to stand behind their work, and if I have problems... fix it. Truck has 4K miles and is a weekend toy. It will be on pavement 90% of its life unless at the track or camping. Not crawling or serious trails...

    Thanks again!

    @Taco1004 Hey there, looking to do the same lift and happen to live in the same area. Did you have any luck with a reputable shop? I have made a few calls around the Frederick area but haven't settled on one. Any updates on your project would be greatly appreciated!

    @aarrowp003

    I have yet to find any Toyota specialists in the area. And I did finally decide on suspension set up...

    -Eibach 2.0 coil overs set at 2.5” lift
    -Eibach Pro rear shocks
    -Supreme 1.5” solid aluminum rear blocks
    -Camburg UCA’s with the X-Joint

    ...nothing has come in yet, other than the rear blocks. It’s all been ordered, but everything is on back order.

    My neighbor owns a mechanic shop in Westminster and said I can bring the truck up once everything is in. The two of us are going to slap it all together. As far as the CMC goes, not sure if I will need that or not at this point. Going to eventually grab a set of Enkei RPT1’s in 18x9. They have a zero offset, but I’m also running SpiderTrax 1.25” spacers (front only)... so once I get to that point, I’ll see how everything lines up.

    I will keep posting as we go, and take pics to document the build piece by piece.

    -Cheers!
