I'm gonna trim an modify the front wheel wells of the truck this weekend if the weather stays nice to get rid of any rubbing due to the offset of the new wheels and the 255's if I have to cut the cab mount who wants to weld a plate back in for me some time no hurry. I don't think I rub on the cab mount and if I do its very very slight maybe able to just grind off a little bit of metal and be fine if not I'll cut it out. I mainly rub on the fender liner back by the pinch weld and the pinch weld itself. I only rub when in reverse and flexed when turning will see how this goes.

I will offer but I know how far you are. I could always do it at zip code 20175 too, business partner has his garage there and we have a welder there too.

That's a lot better of a drive then to you cause you live on the other side of the bay bridge correct? Leesburg, VA is about 2.5 hours from my house which isn't bad.

Yeah, I am in Denton, 30 minutes East of the bridge just off 404 if you were heading to the ocean. You can see my house from 404 haha.

Hey guys, new to the Tacoma family. Mine is on a train as we speak - should be here in a week or so. Ended up going with the 2016 DC SB in MGM.

Anyway for the point of the post - I'm new to the 4x4 world in Maryland... it was my understanding that GR (and pretty much every other state park that had good trails for ORV) permanently closed those trails? Read that here : http://dnr2.maryland.gov/publiclands/pages/orv.aspx

If you all know other trails in that area (or anywhere in MD for that matter) to stretch the new 4x4 legs I would love to know where to find em.

Welcome and you correct about GR there a few small trails still available way out in western Md Savage and New Germany SF I believe but it's not worth the drive to do a few short miles.Nothing else legal really in Md Raush Creek in Pa rumor has it Red Cloud in Woodbridge will be opening back up but only for large groups of people and then Assateague but that's just the beach and permits are expensive

RN, welcome, yup Green Ridge's "off-road" trails have been closed for quite some time now, what i meant to say, is that the un-paved section, is purty large, elevation changes, switch-backs,but always terrain where you can drive in 4x4, if you dont get many opportunities elsewhere . exercise. Or RC is always available to do moar challenging terrain/trails.

I'm down to do a meet up at green ridge. Haven't really off-roaded the truck really. Most have just been highway miles

Thanks for the welcome and info guys.

I'm liking what I'm reading/seeing about Green Ridge. My friends and I enjoy camping, and GR looks like a decent spot. Fairly secluded camp grounds and close to decent trout streams, kayakable water, and smallmouth fishing on the northern neck of the Potomac... all good things! Hopefully get a little muddy in the process.

Build thread in sig... 4-link long travel
George Washington national forest has some good trails. The cove in gore, va is amazing (though advanced), and crozet, va, out by wintergreen is pretty good. Paired with Rausch creek, mentioned above, you have 4 good locations within a 2-4 hour drive. There's a place called the conclave up in pa near Rausch, but it can be hard to get into without an insured group, being that it's a younger park.

Green Ridge can be traversed in a car haha. Still fun though, more fun covered in snow. A great place to camp though and the hiking trails are nice too.
