THanks Mob, I wouldnt get the 6.0. Just couldnt drive a truck waiting for it to inevitably blow one day. I have also been impressed with the 6.7 motor.

I had a 2003 F250 Crew Cab Long Bed FX4 Lariat with the 7.3L. I wish I still had it, that truck was an absolute beast. Use to tow a 13 ton New Holland LB90 Backhoe on a low boy all the time with no issues. Sad day when it had to go.

6.0 is extremely reliable once the additional head bolt is installed. My brother in law has one with almost 700hp. Tons of boost and motor work. No issues once bolt was installed.

I had the 7.3 and my Dad had the 6.0, the 7.3 wasnt as quick off the line but would pull way more than the 6.0 ever could.

ARP makes the improved head bolts for the 6.0's.

You make some good cases/) I'll continue to investigate. So new topic:

I have been getting water runs/lines down the sides of by truck comming from the " Toyota Tacoma " chrome badge on the door. Drives me nuts right after I wax it that happens. I know people debadge these all the time, my question is how do you think it will look after being on there since 97? Think I could clean the paint up under there ? Literally hate seeing those runs when I come home for the weekend and want to drive my truck.

How many gallons does it hold? (623 miles / 22MPG = 28.3 gallons)

Was really hoping it would be stealthier behind the grill but not really. Stupid state making us have front tags... eefc09066671de46fb266f47e002eaf7_38515fb17338b93b290cbfaed3edcd41209b191b.jpg

    Just wait for your bumper.

Then you can put it on with big magnets.

I was trying that, got a $70 ticket for not having a front tag. To be fair it was the third time the cop stopped me for it lmao.

Sounds like we have similar luck. If I went a week without it, i'd have half a dozen warnings or tickets.

Yet I know people that have gone without them for years with not even a stop.
