Alright my Rocksliders are painted and ready to be bolted on, I've looked for a how to but not really finding what I need. Anyone wanna help install these things this weekend or next? Ill provide a case of beer of your choice and of course be helping out and learning. It's the bolt on kit and I have a large garage I've been able to acquire.

 

So TRUCK'N USA in Westminster MD wants $200 for the install and the guy didn't even know what a rock slider was.... I'm a little nervous about that... Anyone wanna help? I'm thinking maybe next weekend to give notice. I'm near Westminster MD if anyone is in that area. I'm also looking to do a write up to post to the DIY Page. It's a win win for everyone plus beer

 

Never hooked them up before but I'm sure it can't be that difficult. Does it bolt to holes that are already on the frame?

Should be a very straightforward install even if you need o drill some of the holes...

Much easier with a partner though - wish I was closer. I'd give you a hand.

 

Well if that's the case then you have my number. If you come to me I can help you out. I'm free tomorrow and it's supposed to be nice out too.

 

Sweet thanks Steve Ill be in touch, it's got the brackets and I have some pictures but they are all DCs, the BAMF thread says its only three holes that need to be drilled and I would assume that's the bottom ones how you get a nut on the bolt I have no idea it did not come with any extra bolts or instructions.

Big thanks to Steve for the help bolting the rock sliders on, still gotta drill and bolt the bottom 6 (3 on each side). Also tried to impact the other ones but need an impact ratchet instead of a gun because there wasn't enough Clearance. If you wanna help out next weekend Craig just PM me I'd be grateful for your help as well.

 

Us Delawarians are trying to get a meet going in Northern DE if anyone in NE MD was interested. Check out our thread. Preliminary meet up spot is Christiana Mall.
