I enjoy it haha but I need more hours what I enjoy most is with my job I don't have coworkers or deal with the public. I show up do my inspections and get paid. No BS to deal with, only reason I'm still employed lol

Meh, I want protection so I'm going steel. With the tires, lift, bumper I'm still between 14-16 mpg once I get the skid on I'll let you know if it changes

As much as id like steel, i have to admit to myself that i dont do enough hardcore wheeling to justify the weight and maintenance of steel, so aluminum is a better option for me seeing as i mostly do highway miles.

Yea I'm doing a lot of highway miles too and it's still my DD. But I want to hit Trail 11 and 13 at RC so I don't think Aluminum is my best bet. My long term goal is to pick up a little cheap commuter car eventually or a state work van would be nice.

I don't play on the rocks with my trucks so i purchased this stainless steel 35lb 1 piece skid from a TW member in PA. Looks and fits better than the 2 piece OEM skids and it provides better protection compared to OEM. Mob's skids look like they are a beast!

Don't quote me on accuracy here, i may have missed something in this transcript. I'm a little tired.

    Driver's side:
Remove wheel/tire. Unbolt spindle from LCA. Unbolt swaybar end link from spindle. Removal of the caliper, rotor, and the CV was fine, old axle seal came right out, then it was a bitch to get the puller piece inside the diff and then get the needle bearing out. The old bearing actually started coming apart. New bushing and axle seal went right in. Driver side strut came right out, new one with the driver's side spacer went right in. CV back on, hub back together, new tie rod end on. Reassembled spindle to the UCA and LCA. Reinstall rotor and caliper then spindle nut torque to 173ftlbs and reinstall coterkey and dust cover.

    Passenger side:
Remove wheel, Separate spindle from LCA, remove sway bar end link from spindle. Remove old tie rod. Remove old strut, install new. Reassemble tierod end and spindle to LCA. Re install wheel/tire.

Driver's side strut boot was broken. Passenger side strut was blown. Both tie rod ends were totaled.

I have not driven it fast enough to know if the vibes are gone but it feels tight and true except for all the crazy positive camber from the lift.

To reiterate on the rear, its all done. The old shocks were both blown and the leafs were flat, overloads were frowning. All the new stuff is perfect.
