I have heard some stories of carnage at Rausch creek, I just want a nice safe place to get my truck muddy and have some challenges without a high possibility of body damage...I would hate to see my hard earned money get a nice door dent from trail riding...

You are in Gaithersburg? I'll keep an eye out when I'm in the neighborhood. If you see a silver double cab, with bestop, an American flag sticker, and a tool behind the wheel...that's me! :p

Damn straight. There is no way in hell when I go that I am messing my truck up. There is a variety of levels of trails there and always a way out. When I go I am driving the bunny slopes. haha

Yea i went to scope it out the other day. Behind the "Fila USA" building theres a insane hillclimb that was fun. Other then that there is nothing because the entrance to the woods is overgrown and blocked by fallen trees. The other location to enter the woods is at a celular building but you have to jump a curb and it looked sketch to do. And the third way is through a power line entrance closer to shwann rd. on the left once you turn onto york. Its just a shame there is nothing legal around.

If you pull up Google maps, you can see the network of trails through the woods back there.

Shoe Creek is supposedly pretty tame. Every time people go out there I'm on call and can't go. :pout:
