Not really many places you could get it stuck there....

Is it all armored up yet? Or are you leaving it stock to get a baseline?

    Outstanding!

Can you confirm if the black oem plastic fender flares are different from the short bed to the long bed?

Because of the distance from the axle to the cab is where the length is lost.

Well I know that, it is a 13" difference.

But I figured the flairs would remain the same?

Just sold my 67 El Camino. I bought it for 2 grand, put a $200 dollar radiator in it & polished it up a bit and just sold it for $4200. Not bad for a days work. I bought this 93 HD Low Rider thats been sitting yesterday for $1500 to flip but i gave it to my dad instead. It reminded me of the 1980 HD he had when i was a kid but he had to sell it to pay catholic school tuition for my brother and I. It just needs a battery and a lot of polishing but it will give him something to tinker with.

Speaking of projects.... fucking GM cars, my cavalier is literally designed to never ever be serviced with the engine in the car, and its gonna fight me from now until eternity because of it....

also the P/O apparently Fubared my E-Fan wiring, as it went up in a puff of smoke after i put the radiator back in and refilled the system with coolant.... so now thats hardwired to a toggle switch because I feel the electrical gremlins are gonna be strong with this one.

Sell the POS lol. It's a cavalier, it's worthless. Buy something else and be done with the headache.

yeah, its a bit of a headache but i did buy the thing, and its sole purpose in life is a low-cost rally car, so it meets that need. now that its running fine, unless stuff breaks its just gonna stay as is, not gonna get a built motor or caged or anything, ill get a Subaru Impreza for all of that, either a GC or GD chassis non-turbo, as they are easier to work on without all the turbo bits in the way

Good thing with those cavaliers is Crazy Rays probaly has a bunch of'em so parts should be cheap and easy to find if you decide to keep it going.

yeah, theyve got a few, I went up there the other day, seem to be mostly still in one piece, although all of the ones with the 15" wheels were missing them, so i might have to standardize on the 14" wheels the car was supposed to be equipped with
