@68dave did you make it out to Cunningham Falls to check out the camp grounds today it wasn't the best weather this morning to look at it but the Houck area isn't bad the Manor area is far from the main park and mostly rv's usually .Its been several years since we camped there .

No. This garage I'm having built is taking my extra $$$. And I had to spend $300 Saturday morning on my dog at the vet. I did put my 75 Kaw Z1900 in the show but I ended up leaving early because of the damn rain.

The one at the White Rose M/C Club? Where they have the hill climb competition? That's where I went yesterday for the vintage Japanese m/c show. I'm going back up next month to watch the hillclimb.

Oh nice! Yea i was there on Thursday.

    Funny random story..
A year ago i had bought a cb350 from a friend. I dont like carbs, so the day it didn't start, is when i put it for sale. Fast forward to Thursday. I decided I wanted another project, so I found a 1990 Kawasaki KE100 2 stroke, and picked it up for cheap. The friend friend that sold me the 350, called me in the middle of the deal to see if I bought a 350 near us. I didnt, but then he told me since I was already in PA, to go to this swap meet.

I was there from aroun 2-4pm. Almost sold the KE100 for double what I paid, but then the kid backed out.

So, I plugged in the 3040-P harness for my brake controller, a Tekonsha P3, and got a whole lot of jack shit. Controller didn't even power on. I have the corect plug, and my ground is good, it the kick panel bolt that a bunch of others have grounded too with success. My CB was grounded to the same bolt and it works fine. I also tried it without the CB connected, still no dice. My trailer plug out back gets all the correct power and signals, I also tested the plug that my controller plugs into and got less than half a bolt across all 5 pins... Wtf am I missing? I would assume if the fuse was blown then I wouldn't have any power to the plug out back

Sounds like your ground is no good. Try grounding somewhere else, check power at the plug in the kick and then at the other end of your harness.

No power to the plug, it reads .5 volts or less across all the pins, which is just meter error. Where else can you ground too under the dash? I can't really see another bolt besides the ones on the pedal box, and I'll be damned before I make another hole in the body for a screw. And the seven pin connecter out back has power to the correct pins.

Any bolt that connects to the body is a good ground. Just be sure there's metal on the other side and not plastic. Sometimes a piece of plastic has a metal insert in it which can look like a good area to ground something but it is not. When you say the lug has no power, are you checking the pins at the stock plug or are you checking at the other end of the harness you plugged into the stock plug?
