So of the 7 bolts from the splash guard, i reuse 6 on the IFS skid?

Hand tightened to the humpfff torque spec

Wouldn't think thats what would hold on a skid, but i guess the rear of it isn't what will be taking the beating

 

Truff. The front is what takes the impact toward the truck then once on the object, the force is basically vertical and that force is taken by the tubes with the bolts in them concentrically.

 

So the rest of the drivetrain holds the back of the transmission when i take these crossmember bolts out?
