Up here, we're so fed up with the laws and changes of the last 10 years, people are all fleeing to WV and PA. Some even to VA. The housing market up here is crashing. Some houses dropping as much as 30-40% in value

 

Makes yah wonder sometimes, the same bureaucrats chasing folks outa the state with high taxes and stupid regulations are more than likely the same ones that complain about the lack of people using public transportation then increase the rate to make up the difference.

 

Yeah, one day I'll actually be able to move out and have a house. Hopefully not I this state. NC does sounds good, but because of my job is have to transfer to Charlotte

Wife and I have a 5 year plan then we are selling and either going South or West. Florida or Arizona is where we plan to go. Probably will end up in Florida. I have tons of family there and the rest is Delaware and Maryland so going back and forth in a car is manageable. Not so much if we move to the West coast.

And one vote for Florida for me. Alexis and I want to be in Florida orncharleston for the long haul. We've both lived in Florida before, so now we want to try Charleston. If we still love it after 5-10 years, we'll stay. If not, Florida it is!

Been down in Florida in the summer, at least where I was at it was 90* and felt like 65

 

Nope. Too much humidity. Its even hot at night down there.

 

My parents live down in SC. If I walk out to get their mail I have to shower and change clothes I'm sweating so much. And that is in winter.

 

In San Antonio one summer a dump truck on my uncles lot had its tires fuse to the asphalt of the parking lot it was so hot.

 

My uncle moved back up to MD from NC because he said the taxes were so bad there.

 

Im planning on moving to Colorado or Arizona in 12 years

 

Now that is a serious problem.

 

did 5 years in FL and a year in TX. love the heat!

ugh, all I want to do is sit still. Hopscotching my way around the country with 70-80 hour weeks is wearing on me. time for change to the tune of a 40 hour week and some real weekends.
