very surprised to hear this. sorry to hear you didn't like them. it's rare that these tires get a bad review.

I've owned two sets of them. 265 and 295. I thought they were fantastic all around. I always tell people that if I were to ever buy another set of ATs, that the terra grapplers would be the first tire I go to.

 

I've also seen many good reviews about the terra grapplers.

In regards to the rain complaints, I don't think my BFG AT do that great in the rain either.

 

You sound like you need some highway tires.

 

Those hard hankooks i had made for some sweet style points in the rain. They never had traction, and i didn't mind it lol.

Until they started hydroplaning. Thats when they were bald enough that i decided to stop messing around and get my coopers

 

They're the worst.

He just needs super swampers.

General Grabber AT2 does surprisingly wel in the mud, pretty quiet on road, last forever, great in the rain. They're my go to AT hands down followed by the BFG. I've heard many reviews on the Nitto complain about handling in the rain, not just my own. They do seem to do very well in everything else but since rain happens quite often, they're off the table for me.

 

Love my grabber at2s just wish I'd stop knocking the front end out of alignment every time I leave the pavement for the rocks and dirt and mud

Nope just me knocking out of alignment,but the tires have served me well I'd have to check the actual mileage but have approx 25thousand on them and about 50%tread still left minus my alignment issue

 

They're generally a 60-70k mile tire in my experience.

 

I'm really interested in the new x3's ,looking forward on reading real people's experience with them

 

Other than the red lettering they look like great tires. I ran the General Grabber HTS tires on my daily driver Grand Cherokee and they did very well. I have General tires on my wife's daily driver Sportage also, forget which ones. You really can't go wrong with them.

 

Yeah not a fan of that look but I usually run black walls out but it wouldn't stop me if they prove to be a good tire

I'm running Cooper Response on the wife's Vue they did great in the snow last year when I drove it she won't drive as soon as the first flurry hits the ground lol

 

Will these fit my 18" F150 wheel? What's the biggest tire I can go with? Will they rub? I lifted the driver side higher than the passenger side and lowered the back to make it look like I'm pulling the front tire off the ground at each launch at the drag strip.
