I've messed about with a Program called Hitfilm, pretty damn well featured, renders out in whatever quality you want. base program is free with DLC type paid add-ons.

So.... any of you guys do concrete? the contractor my dad consulted with has way over inflated prices, a simple 24x24 and he wants close to $40,000. between me and my dad we can do the wiring, framing, doors etc, but are both clueless about the concrete work. Looking for somone to consult with/learn from

You need to go somewhere that has concrete trucks and ask them how much it would be.

You'll need form boards. Wire, and lots of screws/stakes. It won't be cheap but it sure as fuck will not be $40000. He just wanted you to disappear.

yeah, the quote was for the whole garage, but right about $20000 was for the pad, we both looked at each other and said that was bullshit. and i know the price per cubic foot, thast not the issue. the issue is actually setting up the forms and rebar and all of that, plus getting the right PSI and slab type and such, as its gonna have a 12' ceiling for a lift to be installed at some point

Let me check with my buddy he does that everyday. I do precast concrete but never done a concrete slab outside of the concrete plant

I just paid $15k for this 26x28 pole barn installed with insulated roof, doors & windows. The price also included 6" of 4000psi concrete with fiber. Price also included finishing & sealing the concrete for a glossy smooth protective finish. I wanted to build a block garage but the price for that was almost double. I still have to insulate the walls but for 15 grand i'm happy. I had 2 of my 4runners & my 2 tacos in it at one time but it fits 3 comfortably.

I wanted to go with 12' walls but the baltimore co. code was the building couldn't be no more than 15' high so i stuck with 10' walls.
