That's all I did, just pop the links and move the bar out of the way

I believe I rotated it up out of the way but its been a few months since I did the install. I assume you're installing a swaybar relocation kit also so may as well unbolt it from the frame also and get it out of the way completely.

No. I have no access to the bolts that hold the swaybar on due to an oops moment when closing the holes in made to remove the swaybar the first time. I'm hoping my 885's will clear the bar. I do tow regularly and don't really off road the truck so a sway bar is important to me.

Got ya, I assumed the frame on your truck was the same as my 2016 where the bolts are right out in the open, only had to remove the skid plate. It's a crap shoot though, I've seen some guys lifted 1.5" that have contact with the coils and others don't. Post up some before and after pictures! I agree 100% leaving the swaybar is a good idea. No good reason to remove it on a daily driver.

    Yawn...
I read that the most comfortable suspension is stock, so I assume when you guys change it up - it's to accommodate more bed weight/lift/or correct taco lean...

The only way I'll consider an upgrade there is if more than one person says it does actually ride better (on street).

Yeah, the factory nuts are only tacked on, and with a bit of rust on them I broke all 4 off and had to torch a window in the frame as they sit in a fully boxed section on my frame. I had Mobtown patch the holes for me, but forgot I through bolted it and welded the holes closed without taking the nuts in place on the back side. not his fault at all, I totally derp ed and forgot until we were halfway through welding the second plate on.

This^ my main motivation behind the OME kit is the increased load handling capacity in the back with the Dakar. I also regularly ride around with 400lbs of extra weight between cap and tools. even more when I'm towing the rally car to an event and I'm loaded with Extra tools and spares.

Yep, you definitely needed the upgrade then.

The rush to get a lift kit ended for me one day when I tried to enter a valet garage in DC and heard the antennae slapping on every concrete divider.

Best way to fix that problem is avoid DC, nothing good comes from DC

Picked up that 1 owner triple locked FZJ80 today for $1400. Frame & body is solid. It's a project tho'. The reason i got the seller down from $3500 to $1400 is because i found coolant in the oil. It still runs & drives but it needs some work, maybe more than i'm ready to tackle right now. Its just that i'm finding out how hard parts are to find for these trucks. A big thanks to Mobtown Joe and his mighty F150!

Washed my poverty model for the first time since I have owned it. Needed a coat of wax badly before winter. Also needs some mud flaps. The tires sling so much crap on to the paint. Looks good now though!

Also took a ride to Lexington Park to Lowe's in my buddy's 2017 TRD sport DCSB. It has SO. MANY. THINGS. compared to my SR. It's pretty overwhelming. Lol.

Well I have been all over TW for months as I looked for the Tacoma I was going to buy. When I found a MARYLAND thread on the front page I figured it was a good time to make a first post. From SOMD, still in MD just a bit more urban now unfortunately.

    Here it is. 2010 SR5 V6 TRD Sport 4x4
Frame is clean, brakes are fresh, and had the rear leaves replaced the next day after pic under recall.

Dealer didn't know it had the tow package. I did..
