You mean I can't plug a 220 air compressor into my outlet in the kitchen?

    Busy day today!!!

A huge thank you to the guys at Mobtown. The recovery bar is great! Need to do a little more trimming but it is on.

New shoes are on- finally she is starting to be MY TRUCK!

Any specific reason to not go with a used 2016 Tacoma Limited over a new 2017 Sport? There are a few limiteds floating around for like 33-35k, which you know means they're more like 31-32k. Obviously have them do the tranny tsb.

That's what I was thinking. I usually go with Geico's extended warranty too. Good for the life of the vehicle and a $250 deductible if anything goes wrong. Hopefully some of these will still be around when I'm going to look in March.

My cousin recently started working in the parts dept of a Toyota dealership and he told me he heard that Toyota is giving a good amount for a trade in on tacoma's with rusted frames if traded in on a new tacoma. He's looking into it for me. Anyone else heard this? I have that 04 TRD with a rusted frame sitting at Mobtown's shop.

My cousin is looking into it for me. He heard because of a recent class action lawsuit that Toyota just recently extended the frame warranty. But the po, which was a fellow TW member and the father of the original owner, never took the truck in for the frame inspection & undercoating so this truck was excluded for the frame replacement. I know it's a shot in the dark but my cousin said he'll look into it for me. Either way the frame isn't that bad and Joe @Mobtown Offroad said he could repair it for me. Even with 475k miles and a rusted frame the truck still runs & drives great.

You don't need any trade in monies cause ya know you don't want a new car or truck cause that means payments

Thanks. It's a nice truck, i only paid $600 for it. I bought a new Denso radiator for $100 and the used Duratrac's from a fellow TW member, Chip, for $150 so i don't have much into it. Everything works except you have to open the driver's door to operate the pass door pw, so it has a short somewhere in the dr door harness. Po just had the tb, wp & drive belts done in Nov of last year, i have all the maintenance receipts for it since new.

Guy here in canton is selling this lifted 01 for $1200. Runs & drives but has a rusted frame. I was thinking of buying it for the lift, wheel/tires and Camburg uca's for my stock truck but i've been wrenching on my LC'ers. The owner added the rear diff Elocker to it.

Well my poverty model is at the dealership for a few days. Airbag light has been going on and off randomly. They just called and said there's a stored code for the driver's side seatbelt tensioner, but the lookup for the code says it's the passenger side tensioner. I told them they could keep the truck until Monday to see if they can get the light to go on while they wait for corporate to open on Monday. They need to consult the corporate level on how to remedy the problem and order the parts.
