    LOL

No need to get mad at them just dissapointed in Toyota of Bowie. In the end though it worked out for the best in that I have modded the Tacoma the way I want it to be. I bought the Tacoma under the CARS program.

I think I can say that most of us on this forum know more than the dealership service writter. A lot od us know more than most of the lower level dealer technicians.

Thompson Toyota in Edgewood is the best dealer in Maryland. I worked there for a good long while. They do a very good job and are up to date on all tsb work. Of corse they will try to convince you that your cabin air filter is bad and you need new tires as well, but what dealer doesn't.

If you are looking to go there let me know and I can hook you up with the best service advisor there. Don't know about any discounts but you won't be dicked around.

Thanks Steve. I called the actual service department at koons instead of the appointment people and he knew exactly what I was talking about and fixed the appointment notes.

Edgewood is a bit of a hike for me, but I'll consider it and let you know if I go there. Thanks again.

Clay barred, polished, waxed door, trunk and hood jambs, applied tire shine, changed filters and applied sealer to my wife's Sonata...Tomorrow is top coat wax, windshield treatment, new wipers and pictures...hopefully next weekend the Tacoma gets the same treatment...

I told my wife when we bought her Quest that I would never wash it.
$20 to the carwash is a much better investment for me. :anonymous:

Yea it was great seeing someone from TW. It's pretty infrequent for me too.

Thanks! I could spot that grill from pretty far away! Looked good!

Nice. The orange pad is my go to pad for most details.

I am detailing a Lexus this week.

I only use the orbital while polishing so the polishing pad makes the most sense...Hopefully my Tacoma is this weekend...

I'd go Megiaur's or Mother's...read the labels for each and determine what sounds easier for you...Also, something synthetic will generally last longer than a Carnauba based wax but not look as glossy...

If you use this let us know how you liked it.

I used to use Mothers products all the time. For car finish by hand not much beats the Mothers system.
