I agree. I already talked to @colinb17 about his setup. I plan to get some Firestone bags in the near future.

So, had a blast at this weekends rallycross. met up and chatted with the only other mk1 focus guy at the event, learned a shit ton about these cars from him. He unfortunatly snapped a CV axle early in the day, and as a result offered to let me borrow his Rally tires and wheels for the afternoon session. HOLY SHITBALLS OF FIRE the grip is literally unreal. i dumped the clutch at 4k rpm and almost stalled the car they have so much grip. and the thing is a turn in monster with them, just lift off the throttle at the entry to the turn a tiny bit and then floor it and it snaps around right where you aim it. its amazing. it turned my sloppy focus into a rocket ship on rails. And then on my co-driver's second run we snapped our CV the same way he broke his earlier . also, obligatory taco and carnage pics.

Will do. But the vehicles I come across usually need some type of repair or repairs. But I buy'em cheap and i'm still able to sell'em cheap for that reason. I gave Mob a good deal on that 4runner he bought yesterday. When someone is looking at a vehicle I have for sale I put it up on the lift so any potential buyers can inspect the undercarriage for rust, leaks, ect... and when it comes to Toyotas I hand the buyer a hammer so they can tap the frame all over to check for any possible unseen rust areas. And If it's a running /driving vehicle I put the transporter tag on so it can be legally test driven. I consider myself a honest seller, I never try to hide anything. I'm the one that noticed the small rust area on the frame yesterday and I immediately showed it to Mob and told him to tap that area harder to see how bad it really was, luckily it wasn't bad at all. Even tho Its a easy fix for him i lowered my price even more because of that issue, his time is money. My goal is not to get rich but just make a couple bucks and everybody walks away happy.

yeah he does, his trailer is heavy as fuck, its like 3k in trailer alone, mine is about 1800. And im not sure, havent done a whole lot of research, but im probably just gonna start carrying spares, as i dont want to move the failure point up the line into the diff, as thats a lot more money to fix than a CV shaft. plus the shafts are easy as pie to swap out since its Mac strut suspension.
