    100% the reason behind the 500 lb pile of scrap in the corner of my garage. I go through spurts, where i won't touch the pile for 6 months, but then i'll work on a certain project that has me pulling from it every other day

    I did the same thing, but now that I have a plasma cutter, I can turn the smallest piece of scrap into a bracket, tab, shim, washer, etc, in no time at all. wife is not thrilled.....

    Just talked to your wife. She said you should build your own right away, and of course, spare no expense. You can trust me on this....and definitely don't call your wife to verify.
