The family of the deceased live down the road. They just set up the memorial a couple weeks ago on the one year anniversary.

Anybody else feeling lazy on this hot afternoon? I started cutting my grass this morning and quit after just doing my fenced in area too hot to leave the A/C

I went to the shop for a couple hours this morning and then came home and got the grass cut. Then hop in the pool for a little while and now I'm heading to Lowe's.

Did a little exploring around my property this morning before I took the wife into town to a farmer's market. I love it up here, so peaceful and I can do whatever I want.

Wife and I been sanding & painting on the porch most of yesterday & today. Just finished what we had planned to do this weekend. Luckily most of the porch is covered and has a ceiling fan so that helped. Still a lot to do tho on this old cabin.

    Hi,

Any recommendations on MD Toyota Dealerships? I'm in the Baltimore area. I'm interested in a new 2.7 SR Utility package or Convenience Package. There seems to be a lot of dealerships in the area, especially Koons.

    Thanks

I really liked Russel's on Rt 40. They were far cheaper than any other dealer. @jowybyo told me to go there too. No ragrets.

    Working on it.
I bought my Bro from Koons. It was a very low pressure sales experience and I was able to get it below msrp. I went the last day of the month. I would buy from them again. Also the service staff has been very friendly and helpful so far. I had a couple adons post purchase.

I bought my 2016 Tacoma from Russell's on 40 I went back there to buy my 2016 4Runner and was disgusted with them. They were way over priced and the manager literally told me to go somewhere else if I could find it cheaper so I did. I will NEVER shop there again. I ended up buying my 4Runner from Bayside Toyota in Prince Frederick. They were quite busy on a Sunday and seemed to not know what to do with themselves. Took way too long and was very disorganized BUT they gave me $1500 more on my trade in, better interest rate, and were $4000 cheaper than Russell's out the door. I would recommend them over Russell's in a heartbeat, well worth the drive.

Wow. Maybe they changed? I know they changed to "Mile One" after I bought mine. Seems like they've become very corporate.

I bought my 2016 Tacoma 8 months before shopping for my 2016 4Runner. The head manager at Russell is Bobby, he's a great guy. His partner is a typical salesman twat waffle. He said and I quote "this truck in this color (MGM) is very hard to find, I'm not budging on my price. If you find it cheaper, buy it" so that's exactly what I did. I paid just shy of $34,000 for my 2016 SR5 out the door with weather package, running boards, and navigation. Their truck was $36,500 before any taxes or fees, no running boards, no nav, no weather package and he thought that was a killer deal. Reality is, if one dealer can negotiate the price down, the other dealers can negotiate the same price. At least in the same region anyway.

I'm proud to say I never bought a new vehicle. I just can't bring myself to buy something that depreciates so quickly. Although Toyota's do hold their value better compared to other makes. I only buy vehicles that I know I can make money off of, either right away as a quick flip or drive them for a while then if I was to sell I know I could sell it for more than I have in it. I never invest more into a vehicle than what the book value is.
