That's awesome. However that's rarely the case for anyone else. I've never bought a new vehicle, or one less then 5 years old. Toyotas do hold their value very well and it's a rare case of where buying new is almost better than buying 2 or 3 years old.

If I were to buy a 3rd gen I'd be hard pressed to find a used one for less than I could get one new, especially once you factor in warranty/financing etc.

I bought my 3rd gen SR brand new after some shopping around. V6 automatic short bed double cab. Came with keyless entry and the SR5 package which I believe was pretty much just the body color bumpers. What I loved about this truck was there were no fender flares, loved the SR wheels, loved the SR grill, and it didn't come with anything I didn't need. Pictured is with the installation of a 3" lift and 285/75/16 tires on the stock SR wheels. $31,900 out the door

Any of you fine, modern gentlemen on here up on your lawn care?

I'm looking for advice on seed.

Bought a house two years ago. Grass is all crab and weeds.

Soil is sandy, sun shine all day and heavy foot traffic. Looking for seed suggestions.

Cement and Kelly green paint. I cut and edged mine the other day. 5 hours and 2 gallons of sweat. Uhhgh!

Don't you dare tempt me! I told my wife the same thing. I cut the grass Sunday and did all the edging today. I wanted to die.

Dude, and I have a diesel Kubota. But in this heat the freaking edging kills me. Maybe goats? LOL

Koons Westminster lost a sale by me, 3 years ago.

Gave them the price I wanted to pay, they would not do it. Found another dealer that met my price, and just as I was closing the sale, Koons calls me back and agrees to the price. Told them too late!

Here's what I also did to prepare to switch from Direct TV to Dish. That's a 16' ladder on a 45 degree hill. Had to clear the hill first. I'm getting to old for this shit.

My yards only 1/4 acre so I push it. Lots of edging though.

Luckily half of my 2.5 is wooded. But I'm thinking of adding more trees. LOL

    I would.

My parents have a 4 acre farm, 1/2 acre is woods. I went and cut it for them last week. Lots of 5" dia wood polls to section off property for livestock. Took me 7 hours to cut and string trim. Ridiculous

Haha. I keep telling them. They usually have steer but haven't for a while. They keep the grass low.

Yea. If I didn't like the solitude and privacy I would so move to a condo! The chores aren't to bad but as I get older they are definitely getting harder.

I understand how to do it. I was more wondering if anyone has had luck with one brand and type of seed over another.

Not really. But the scotts weed n feed helps.

I use a little cultivator, then seed it. Straw it and whatever seed is cheap at lowes
