Yeah I didn't wanna go through all the trouble of a resonator for a camping / expedition truck, no need for it to sound mean. Hopefully this 9$ is a good investment lol

Am I alone in thinking the Toyota V6 with aftermarket exhaust sounds terrible? I've never heard one I liked. Toyota inline 6 is a different story. See: 2jz

The TRD doesn't sound too bad, but it doesn't sound great.

V6 motors don't lend to a nice exhaust note unless you spin them to 10k with huge cams and turbos.

I overslept this morning. Was 8 minutes late to work. My boss chewed me out, he can be a real prick. I said fuck you and left. Anyone hiring?

I win! I have yet to leave early due to heat and it has been on average 100+ degrees in the shop since we have no a/c and can't have too much air moving due to welding.

    Yawn...
Ditto. 2 busses running in a small shop adds about 20° - 30° of what we have outside.

This heat is no joke... ahhhhhh. It's a 12 hr shift today, but I'm grateful to have a job.

Winter & snow... where are you baby??

First thing I said to the boss this morning was It's gonna feel like 104 so I'm working thru lunch again & leaving early. I sweating & soaked already. I can't handle this humidity.

Next week I'm on vacation. Gonna be wheeling & exploring the mountain, can't wait! Wife & I are gonna make a day trip to Deep Creek Lake, we never been there. I'm hoping I can take all back roads from my cabin in WV to there.

When welding you are blowing a shield gas which in our case is a mixture of Argon/Oxygen to clean the metal and puddle while laying the wire in to adhere the steel. If you have a bunch of ambient air blowing in to the weld it will cause porosity and will make a weak weld. It will look like a bunch of pin holes in the weld, no good.

So true. I thought about doing 6-230 but I can't because FedEx and our trucks to pick up and drop off orders don't show up until 3ish so I usually do 7-4.

Be prepared for tourists. The place is pretty active in the summer. Total ghost town in the winter
