Shopping for one. Been a PC guy all my life. But for my line of study, mac is literally the only choice.

I'm just having a very tough time dropping $2000 on a laptop without literally asking everyone around me any questions I can about the situation.

 

Yeah that makes sense. They are really good in for any video or photo editing, which is what I'm assuming you're using it for. If you're really interested, one of my best friends back in CA now has his own video business, and I believe he does all his editing on his Mac. Been doing it for 10 years now as a hobby back when we used to skateboard, but now makes some really nice stuff. I could put you in contact with him and he could answer any questions you may have.

I appreciate it. But i'm just going to take a day and ask some of my old professors when I go in to edit my cache from this past weekend.

I should honestly do it tomorrow, but i have so much shit to do. Helping someone move thursday, working friday. None of them will be in over the weekend...

So i'm just asking around to see what i come up with. I know bare minimum what i need, i just need someone to tell me what would be the best bang for my buck at this very moment. Sounds simple. But it isn't.

 

Also the three videos i made last semester are on my google drive if you want to kill about 10 minutes

I prefer the older solid axle Yotas. I wish i still had my lifted 85! Plus no inspection or emissions testing and the registration/tags are only $51 every 2 years. I have my 94 LC tagged historic along with my classic cars and i plan to tag my 95 LC historic also.
