Well I sold her this eve. I am glad these things hold their value as they do. Of course it helps only having 12,000 miles on a 2 year old truck. I will miss driving her, hope to get a 4 banger as soon as I sell my Charger.

Just stopping in to introduce myself in the MD thread. My name is Brian and I live in Orchard Beach in AA County. I'm recently retired from the Army and now work at the VA Hospital in Baltimore.

I recently bought a used Toyota from the dealer in Glen Burnie. It's a Toyota Certified Pre Owned 2012 DCSB TRD Offroad, 21k miles, with tow package. I paid $26900 at Brown's Toyota in Glen Burnie, MD. They did give me 1.9% financing since it was a CPO vehicle. With tax, tags, title, bed mat, and transferring the Toyota Care Plan I was OTD for $28500.

The truck will be used as a daily driver since I have a 99 Cherokee that is lifted on 33's to wheel at Rausch Creek so I joined up mostly to learn about mods that will make the truck easier to live with. So far all I've done is 15% tint all the way around. I've been looking at threads to see what others have done as far as lighting upgrades since I would like bed lights and a rear utility light for when I pull my boat out of the water at night. Some other things that I'm looking at doing would be putting a 12V charger in the bed, possibly a light bar in the front if I can make it look factory and making the 12V outlets in the cab always on.

Welcome Brian. List up what mods you would like to see. I am sure one of us has done the mod.

Thanks. I used to live in Crofton.

Thanks. I've been searching the forums quite a bit and was wondering if anyone knows of a good service advisor in MD? I loaded up my 2 dirtbikes and a toolbox and the rear was sagging. I was searching the forum and came across a TSB thread that mentioned some people were getting denied to have 4 leaf springs put in under a TSB and others were having their Bilstein shocks replaced with black ones. If a Marylander has a good service advisor I'd be willing to drive.

I only have experience with service advisors at Koons in Annapolis and I did not think too much of them. I was treated pretty badly by the sales department at the Bowie Toyota dealership and I do not use them at all.

I would travel to Va. VA, seems like a bad trend with auto reps around our state. Might be better off buying new springs.Less headaches and drive time.

Koons Annapolis told me I had a blown engine and tried to sell me a used engine for 6k all it was bad valve. Didn't have a good experience at browns, bowie lost my truck for a day its just easier to go somewhere other than a dealer
