So.... thinking about trading the taco.... for this.

That would make a great trail rig/weekend toy but not sure how it would be as a DD for you. I drove my lifted Landcruiser daily before i took it up to the mountains and i loved driving mine everyday. You know me i love the older solid axle Yota's.

 

Same.Seen one this weekend thought yhe soccer dad driving it just put some decals on it.

 

Yeah, it seems the rockers are still in tact, but definitely still there, so savable. I think. More than I can say for my last 4Runner. Body damage doesn't bother me, especially for something I plan on dragging trees down the side of.

If it's anything like driving a 3FE FJ80 on 35s, I'm sure I'll be fine with it. I'm wondering how it drives with OME leafs at all four corners. But I fully expect it to be slow, noisy, and smell like an old muscle car. But one thing that really makes me happy, it's manual, albeit 4-speed. Having that much ass on an auto scares me, automatic transmissions are devil magic.

 

I'm just the worst side of both fences.

I want a pretty mall crawler for a daily driver....but i still want to beat the fuck out if it regularly.

So i beat it, and when its hurt, i hate myself. But while i'm doing the beating or the cleaning up afterwards, i couldn't be more happy

See, one thing that drift cars taught me, as long as it looks cool and does stuff, you're good lol. Shiny stuff is amusing for a little while, but as the saying goes, "the sauce is forever"

So I screwed up and ordered a set of 24 OEM style black lug nuts but I can't use them. 20 bucks if anyone wants them

 

i'll take em.
