They make good power and they are very comfortable trucks. IMO if I was to but a full size pickup I'd want a V8 Mostly because nothing sounds like a V8 with a nice exhaust. One of the biggest things I miss and I so with the 4R was still offered with the V8 option.

If Toyota would get out of the stone ages with their pushrod V8's I'd be driving a Tundra. But holy fuel mileage batman!

Probably less. They don't get swapped into anything cool, and don't make much more power, if any, over a USDM unit. There's no screaming demand, so I'd assume $500ish average.

Hey yall Local yokel here, looking for suspension advice.

I have a 2nd gen regular cab, w5100s, I want Kings/w adjusters. I think I want something in the middle, I'm most likely going to use a ball joint UCA, and 1.5 single AAL in the rear.

Opinions, suggestions, and any advice is appreciated.

Something in the middle is the Fox 2.0 coilovers.
    http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p187/FOX_Level_1_Kit_-_05__Tacoma.html

Or maybe the bilstein 6112 and 5160 in the rear

I'd avoid the single AAL if you're going for a plush ride. The single AAL isn't bad, but it is stiff. The 3-leaf progressive AAL would get you lift and ride smoother.

Thanks, I was think FOX has been recommended by most everyone I talk to I have considered the 6112s.

I was thinking of the 3leaf pack as well. I also forgot to mention I will be adding a rear plate bumper.

I was also considering replacing the rear with a full leaf pack. I also want to stay in the normal lift range, nothing too high.

Right now I'm thinking FOX 2.5!

Are you thinking high clearance, or just regular rear? What about a swingout? I ask because if it's just a basic, standard rear, it's not too heavy and an AAL will be fine. If you're getting the Mack daddy that weighs a bunch, then it may be best to save up for a leafpack.
